November 2008 - CLASS UK BAR AWARDS - 'BEST SPECIALIST BAR'
We were delighted to have been nominated as one of the two best specialist whisky bars in the UK. There were four categories for this award : Vodka, Tequilla, Whisky and Rum and unfortunately for us whisky bars, Tequilla won the day.

October 2008 - WHISKI filmed for Korean TV

Korean TV in ther bar filming on Scottish traditions and focusing on Haggis and Whisky - both of which we have in abundance! They are due back again to film in the New Year  with the programme broadcast in Feb 2009, we look forward to it.

August 2008 - Russian TV - Thirty Years of Laughing in Edinburgh

Whiski filmed and will be featured on Russian TV on a programme about comedians in Edinburgh.

WHISKI is the official whisky bar at the TASTE OF EDINBURGH and held lectures on Whisky & Food matching in the Food & WHISKY school. Many samples of whisky and our whisky cocktails were handed out during the course of the event. Click here to see some photos and how we got on.

Burns Night 2008 - MOJO HD - THREE SHEETS
Whiski featured on American channel, MOJO HD featuring comedian Zane Lamprey on his worldwide tour of drinking dens and traditions. Where better to see a traditional Burns Night celebration than at WHISKI - the bagpipes were playing, the bar was buzzing, loads of haggis and even more whiskies were had by all. 25th May 2007 - WHISKI Bar Launches
Clever Dicks is no more and WHISKI Bar & Restaurant launches with a freshly prepared Scottish menu and hundreds of whiskies including many rare editions.
