Whiski Bar is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner — all day, with no gap between services. Use the booking form below to secure your table, or call us on 0131 556 3095 if you’d prefer to book by phone.
We keep more than half the venue free for walk-ins at all times, so you’re always welcome without a reservation. But if you’re visiting on a Friday or Saturday evening, or coming as part of a group, booking ahead is the smart move.
Before you book — a few things worth knowing

We serve food all day with no gap between lunch and dinner — so if you want to eat at 3pm or at 9pm, the kitchen is open.
What to expect
Whiski Bar is a relaxed, all-day bar and restaurant — not a formal dining venue. Smart casual dress is perfectly fine. The atmosphere is warm and lively, particularly in the evenings when the live music is on.

FAQ’s
Can I request a specific table or area?
We can’t guarantee specific tables, but you’re welcome to mention a preference in the notes field when booking and we’ll do our best.
Can I book a table for the same day?
Yes — same-day bookings are available online subject to availability. Alternatively just walk in; we keep plenty of space free for spontaneous visits.
Do I need to book for the live music?
No. The live music is free and no booking is required for it. If you’re coming specifically for the music and don’t need a dining table, just walk in and find a spot at the bar or in the lounge area.
What if my group is larger than 6?
Email us with your date and group size. We handle all groups of 7 or more directly.
Is the restaurant accessible?
Yes — we have level access from the street, accessible toilets and partial wheelchair access throughout the venue. Please contact us in advance if you have specific access requirements.
Do you take phone bookings?
Yes — call 0131 556 3095 during opening hours. For groups or special requests, email is often quicker, see contact us page.
Are children allowed?
Yes we are fully family friendly and welcome children. Once the music is on after 10pm then they are not permitted unless they are still finishing their meals
What if I am running late?
We keep table for 10 minutes so if you are going to be more than 10 minutes late then call us on 0131-556-3095 as it is highly likely your table will given away if you haven’t arrived by then.
